UML profile for C++ to be used in open source modeling tools

I'm working in ArgoUML which is an open source modeling tool
for UML. In the context of the work in C++ reverse engineering
I'm a bit puzzled on how to model C++ constructs such as
namespace alias, global variables and functions, etc in UML.

So, what is needed is a UML profile for C++ possible for use
in an open source project. First I googled a bit on this, but,
only found proprietary implementations... Now I'm reverting to
this forum which is watched by many UML experts that might know
better than me.

Java almost had such a profile although more ambitious to support
EJB, which is now the withdrawn proposal JSR 26
(http://www.jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=26) and used partially
in ArgoUML for modeling Java programs. Alas, currently a C++ developer
that wants to use ArgoUML for modeling has to put-up with this
profile :-(

That is what the developers of the C++ modules want to change, so,
any help is very appreciated on hints for such a profile existence or
proposals for its development.
