Compuware - OptimalJ (Commercial, supposed to be best of breed)
http://www.compuware.com/products/optimalj/default.htm

ArcStyler from Interactive Objects is one of the leading MDA tools and competes directly with OptimalJ. Their website has a lot of whitepapers on MDA.

Metanology has several products, each of which provides a model-driven development environment for a different target, including J2EE and Struts.

XCoder is an Open Source MDA Toolkit written in Java. It's itself completly developed using MDA. See http://sourceforge.net/projects/xcoder

open ArchitectureWare (also Open Source): http://sourceforge.net/projects/architecturware/

Other comercial products:
BITPlan's smartGENERATOR: http://www.bitplan.de/xmlweb/index....tor&lang=en

Link to a MDA tools list

Hi,

I hit this link (http://www.modelbased.net/mda_tools.html) just after looking at this thread. The entries in it include non-production tools, so, not all are appropriated to be listed here.

The associated project (http://www.modelware-ist.org/) seams to be raising the level of MDA work, at least in research.

So far, I've had experience using Rational XDE with MDA Toolkit for implementing MDA in my previous and current projects. Also, the most recent one is RSA which uses UML 2.0 instead of 1.3 like XDE does.
