This is a very good suggestion and we will soon create this new forum. Thanks for the suggestion!
If you do a Google search on UML 2.0 you will find very little that is currently available on the web. For this we have to fault the OMG which does not make the drafts available except to dues paying members of the OMG. Unfortunately, the dues are out of range of most individuals, so only a select group of corporations that have a vested interest in developing commercial UML 2.0 products can participate.
One can clearly see how contrary to the spirit of open-source development this policy is. If the UML 2.0 were an open standard, chances are that all of the open-source UML tools currently out there would be the first to release UML 2.0 products! This also ignores the fact that many people could openly contribute to the UML 2.0 standard if the OMG were to allow some way for others to contribute without having to pay dues. If we are wrong about this opinion, please let us know why...
Hopefully, our new UML 2.0 forum will allow our valued readers to contribute any knowledge that they have about UML 2.0 so that others may gain access to this information as well.
