first i want to know about prototypes, where i can find more information??

and

how can i depict asynchronous message(or events?) in activity diagrams?

Very good question. I checked the Rational Rose 2002 I did not find any icon for asynchronous message.

Asynchronous Messages in Sequence Diagrams can be found on page 70 (figure 5-1) in UML Distilled second edition. There would be no need to use it in an activity diagram(and there is no notation in the Activity diagram to support it). Any other diagrams that could use it would use same notation as shown in UML Distilled. It is half of an arrow.
