Codagen has recently announced an adapter for its flagship MDA tool, Codagen Architect, to allow it to integrate with with Oracle's JDeveloper:


The Technology Accelerator for Oracle JDeveloper acts as a blueprint that drives Codagen Architect in transforming business models into Oracle JDeveloper database diagrams and EJB code. A UML profile packaged with the Technology Accelerator allows the developer to extend the UML model with additional metadata required for the model-to-code transformations. The developer can then import the generated code into Oracle JDeveloper and enhance it according to his needs.

Codagen Architect can import UML models from a number of leading UML tools, including MagicDraw and Rational XDE, by importing XMI files from these tools.
