When will someone make a Refactoring tool for .NET C#

Hello,

I know some of you pay *pooh pooh* at C# but let me tell you if you have used java or struggled with C++ you will love C#.

I have used both java and C++ in the past. I love C# but there are to date only 2 good modleing tools that support it that I'm aware of.

TogetherSoft 5.5 and 6.0 beta
Rational XDE .NET

Both are very expensive 6K and 3K respectivly but only Rational fully supports C# and only rational snaps into the development envirionment for .NET

The only problem is that Rational is ANTI-REFACTORING....it's not grown here type of mind set. This sucks! I wish Idea would produce a C# version of thier product or at least a 3rd party add-in for .NET!

For now I will be Captan "Find and Replace"!

Best Java-IDE--- > ECLIPSE

Best Java-IDE--- > ECLIPSE ..

It has all the features of IDEA/IntelliJ & its Free.. Open source.

ECLIPSE is awesome with Tomcat/CVS/Ant plugins with
great refactoring support.. you cant go wrong with it.

BTW we have been using Eclipse for past year & half
with latest version RC2.1.x

AFAIK IntelliJ IDEA is still a little bit more clever at the detail level. Eclipse, on the other hand, seems to be more responsive and better at handling a huge amount of interdependent projects.

Well, IDEA isn't that costly, too.

http://www.refactoring.com/tools.html has two refactoring browsers for C# listed.

Thumbs up The Best Java-IDE is JFrameBuilder

JFrameBuilder is my all time favorite, very cool, doesn't need command line coding, just by draging..
