MDA Books

To get a jump on MDA, there are some good books that have recently appeared that will help you understand this emerging technology:

MDA Explained
The Model Driven Architecture: Practice and Promise
by Kleppe, Warmer and Bast
ISBN: 032119442X

One of the authors of this book is the architect of OptimalJ's MDA support. The sample application described in the book is called Rosa's Breakfast Service and was developed using OptimalJ. Both the sample code as well as a trial version of OptimalJ can be downloaded from the OptimalJ web site.
