passed test

I passed the IBM 486 test today. Scored 85.
I want to thank everyone involved with this forum for the help that I was able to get from here.
The sample questions prepared by bala were of great help.
I read Fowler and Larman and used the ICE test to guage my preperation (for that reason I did not attempt it till last week, I got 82 in that).

Wishing all the best to all who will be taking the test.

Regards
majid

HI,

Could you please let me know if we need to read the whole of Larman book cover to cover? Are there any chapters that are more important than others?

I have some background on OOAD and read Fowler couple of times. Do you still recommend reading Larman back to back. I am just concerned that it would take too much time...

Congratulations and celebrations

How was the exam and Can u tell me how many questions where with diagrams...? and how was it?

It would great help if u can post some of the questions that u remember.

Is the exam easier than the mock test by IBM?

Thanks and Congratulations once again

In my opinion reading Larman's book is essential. I am sure that reading it will be beneficial to everyone learning OOAD and UML. Also the book has a case study (POS system) which really makes things pretty clear.
I do not remember the questions, so will not be able to post any. But surely the questions are of the same standard as the ICE test. Also Bala's questions (posted in this forum) are brilliant and aid in ones preparation.

Regards
majid
