Metamodel transformation between EMF and MOF

Hi,
Can any one give me more details on the transformations between EMF (Eclipse) and MOF? I know XSTL-based tools are used such as E-MORF, but I want to know more about this field.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Good question. The following two excellent papers provide a lot of information. This research was produced by DSTC in Australia.

Eclipse Modelling Framework (EMF) import/export from MOF / JMI

MOF to EMF: There and Back Again
