OO Design Patterns

Could some of you point me to some good OO design pattern websites?

At one point there was more activity on the web for design patterns. However, the early excitement seems to have subsided and the sites you find out there are aging.

One site you might want to visit is Patterns for Java and Distributed Computing which provides some overview material, synopses of patterns and a number of links.

For good books on patterns see the following OBD forum thread.

Refer to the following URL for basic GOF patterns with diagrams.

Here is a good page on Design Patterns that provides a brief synopsis for a number of the GOF patterns.

This page was produced by Professor Scott Smith at Johns Hopkins University, who teaches an interesting looking course titled, Object Oriented Systems.
