Question XSD to XMI or some flavour of UML ?

Is there a reverse transition (even poor) from XSD to XMI ? I mean, I'm sure that a rich transition is possible, but I'm looking for the tool. I want to import xml schemas into an object diagrammer, and I don't know any diagrammer which does that.

Modeling XML Applications with UML

Dave Carlson's book Modeling XML Applications with UML contains excellent material on the mapping of UML to XSD and is unique in the library of books on either UML or XML. The relationship of UML to XSD is very obvious when considering the prevalence of SOAP for sending objects over the web as XML. Dave Carlson is one of the few authors who have highlighted the relationship of these two technologies.

Dave is a founder of Ontogenics Corporation.

Wink

Yes, I am very familiar with Dave and his work. In fact, Dave and I have developed a close working relationship and partnership. Both of our companies are located in Boulder, CO. Our Visual UML product support's Dave's well-documented XML Modeling profile, Visual UML interfaces with his hyperModel product, and we have just been appointed as a reseller of his product.
